Improving the quality of services in the field of culture by increasing the energy efficiency of the House of Culture in the municipality of Sveti Nikole

PROJECT DETAILS

Culture is a factor that stimulates the development of civilization and increases social cohesion. Today's living conditions, along with the development of new technologies, value orientations and globalization, give culture the characteristics of an exceptionally developing sphere. It is an area from which creative relationships and challenges relevant to the overall contemporary development spring up. It is an indisputable fact that culture is a spiritual food, in which a lot of knowledge, talents and efforts have been invested in order to continue to nurture the foundations that have been laid by many activists from the Ovce Pole valley in the past few decades and who have a special share. in the construction of a cultural institution called the House of Culture, because without them, it would be another building without cultural and artistic spirit and inspiration. OU House of Culture "Krste Misirkov" is a municipal institution that is the center of all activities and events of cultural character in the municipality and as an institution is responsible for the presentation and promotion of local ethnological cultural heritage in the country and abroad, encouraging and developing culture. especially among children and young people, cultural-artistic amateurism and publishing cultural-artistic works. OU House of Culture "Krste Misirkov" prepares its work program on the basis of the Law on Culture, the Statute of the institution, the needs of the citizens, analysis of previously realized program contents, following the modern trends of cultural events, all in order to unite the local community around cultural events, as well as raising the cultural life and cultural values in the municipality and beyond. On its available area of 4000m2, the House of Culture has 2 stages - the larger one with an area of 378m2 and a small stage with 20m2. Of the two halls available to the Home, the large hall has 420 seats, and the small hall has 120 seats, 2 reading rooms. The work program is realized through the work of the main activities that work within the Home, as follows: Stage-artistic activity, Music activity, Library activity, Drama activity, Literary activity, Art activity, Film and cinema-showing activity, Publishing activity. Through their work and activities, the basic function of the Home is realized. The main activities in the House of Culture, through the already established main activities such as: Folklore Ensemble "Janko Gligorov", singing groups (Female vocal trio "Zunica", Women's singing group "Camellia"), learning to play folk instruments, and drama studio, literary club, various Manifestations - record successful promotion and presentation both on stage in the cultural institutions of the country and internationally, whose most credible confirmation are the numerous awards and recognitions. On the cultural map in the region and beyond, this House of Culture is recognizable by the events and festivals it organizes, including: International Festival of Original Folklore "Todorica", Formal Academy - on the occasion of St. Nicholas, Show for children "Stars" , in the month of the book, the manifestation "The book open window to the world", Poetry manifestation "Spring, love, laughter", Book Fair, Sveti Nikole Cultural Summer - Autumn cultural wave, etc. It must be noted that, in the last decade, the House of Culture has hosted a number of international guest appearances of folklore societies, ensembles, as well as cultural and artistic organizations from Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, Ukraine and Russia. Unfortunately, with the last reconstruction of the House of Culture in 2011/2012, the solution of the problem with heating and air conditioning of the cinema hall in which most of the program activities in the House are realized (film screenings, theater performances, concerts of folklore ensembles, rehearsals of FA "Janko Gligorov", etc.). This leads to a reduction of the conditions for uninterrupted performance of cultural activities as well as an inability to meet the needs from a cultural aspect. An additional reason for installing a heating and air conditioning system in the cinema hall is the fact that in cases of extreme weather conditions, especially in winter and summer, the temperature can reach up to 40 degrees Celsius, but also reduce to minus temperatures. In these cases, the employees of the Home as well as the visitors are deprived of the right to work and enjoy the cultural and artistic activities, which results in dissatisfaction and revolt. The current model of heating in the cinema hall and auxiliary rooms in the House of Culture has been carried out with the help of turning on electric heaters (heaters and typhoons, some of which are not functionally correct) and contribute to extremely high electricity consumption and thus, contribute to the huge financial damage to the House of Culture. But the problem is not only in energy consumption and financial spending. The problem is that this old-fashioned way of heating does not give long-term results. For example, as visitors enter and leave the cinema and ancillary rooms, the accumulated heat disappears. and the premises are cold and insufficiently heated again and the visitors, unfortunately, have to follow the cultural manifestation in such "inhuman" conditions. For that purpose, it is more than necessary to install the heating and air conditioning system of the cinema hall and auxiliary rooms, because in that way, not only the youth in the municipality of Sveti Nikole, but the entire population of the municipality and beyond in the region will gain improved conditions for attending cultural and artistic activities that will contribute to the enrichment of the cultural spirit and will additionally promote the encouragement of various specific forms of creativity.
