PROJECT DETAILS

The project represents the construction of a fecal sewage treatment plant in the village of Chiflik, Phase II. The village of Chiflik is located about 3 km from the seat of the municipality of Obleshevo. It has 688 inhabitants (census 2002). Macedonian population lives in the village. In terms of infrastructure, the village has only an access road and a few asphalted streets. The population is supplied with drinking water by individual boreholes (hydrophores). With funds from the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development in 2016, a fecal sewage network (primary and secondary network) was built. It has not been put into operation due to the unbuilt purification system. At the moment, the removal of waste fecal water is with septic tanks separately for each household and rural economy. Due to the absence of a system for removing and purifying the waste fecal water, it flows directly into the river Bregalnica and pollutes the living world in it. For this purpose, the municipality of Ceshinovo-Obleshevo prepared Technical Documentation for the construction of a treatment plant. The technical documentation was prepared by Prima Engineering Skopje and it provides for the construction of an anaerobic treatment plant through which municipal and industrial waste water loaded with organic substances, treated through an anaerobic process, will be treated. By purifying the waste water, the pollution of the environment will be prevented, and the purified water will be discharged to the recipient. The same (as indicated by the designer) can also be used for irrigation of agricultural lands.
